Observe Imagine Meditate
Moon Shine
Midnight moon of mystery,
Cast your silent light.
Shine upon the restless sea,
A brilliant path in dark blue night.
A place of wild, untamed depth,
Of power no man can hold.
Wordless witness is the sea,
A place of tales untold.
Waves of the ages captivate,
Atop a darkened chasm.
Ponder my mortality,
The sum of what I am.
Seek solace from the sea,
In the silence of the night.
Find joy in my existence,
'Midst the power and the might.
Eyes turn toward velvet heavens,
And the glory they reveal.
Tiny points of brilliant light,
Like glowing tips on molten steel.
Time and space, which knows no end,
This chasm of the night.
Rejoice in my existence,
'Midst the majesty and might.

At times in our lives, we have moments and situations which impel us to ponder our own value, to need a reminder of where we fit in the scheme of things. We are each unique, built from a lifetime of experiences. Reflect, resolve, reaffirm. Be made better not bitter. We each have a place no one else can fill.
