Barnacle Billie and Fish That Are Silly

Barnacle Billie is on her rock,

She never moves from this spot.

She sees the silly fish go by,

Wishes they would just say, "Hi."

​

"They see me here every day,

I see them laugh and swim and play.

It would be nice if I had a friend,

Time with them I would like to spend."

​

The silly fish see her there,

"We should say "Hi," it's just not fair.

Barnacle Billie is on that rock,

She just can't move from that spot."

​

Barnacle Billie sees them come,

She says, "Oh, what fun!"

"Time with you we'd like to spend,

There's always room for another friend!"

​

The silly fish did a good deed,

They saw someone else in need.

If you see someone new,

Invite them to spend time with you!
